For the eighth year Mark bird Stafford http://www.markbirdstafford.com  
will again be hosting a junior jam (18 yrs. and under). This year the  
event has been bumped up to the Main Stage in Memorial Park because it  
has been so successful. The junior jam started off on a small porch  
stage when Chuck Jackson created the festival 12 years ago continues  
to provide an opportunity for youth to play live in a professional  
band atmosphere. Mark has been teaching harmonica to adults and  
children for many years and often discovers youth talent with his own  
Blues In The Schools Program as well as the Toronto Blues Society BITS  
Program http://www.torontobluessociety.com. Ontario has it's share of  
very talented young players who often amaze the crowd with their  
command of the Blues. Mark's band consists of Darran Poole on guitar,  
Lance Anderson on piano and organ, Terry Wilkins on bass and Michael  
Fitzpatrick on drums.

This years male and female participants are as young as 11 years old  
and play and sing on organ/piano, harmonica, guitar, drums.

Sunday September 12th.  12 - 1:30 pm - Memorial Park - Angus Mackay  
Stage.
